ValueBond® is a comprehensive authentication and digital content system which has been created to enhance the customer experience of a product.
In short, an electronic ValueBond® is embedded in a product which when scanned with a smartphone, not only authenticates it, but unlocks a digital gateway to exclusive content associated with the product, event or personality.
Renauld Sunglasses are one of the first companies to implement the ValueBond in their sunglasses, protecting their sunglasses and adding significant value to the ownership experience.
How does it work?
• Download the ValueBond App from the iPhone App store and register your account ( Android coming soon)
• Open the ‘Register ValueBond’ tab and click on the ‘scan it’ function
• Locate the ValueBond symbol on the sunglass’s temple tip
• Scan the OPPOSITE temple tip and the sunglasses will be registered as an asset
• The Registered asset will contain the ‘View Gateway’ button which will allow the owner to access all the digital content associated with this sunglasses
The ValueBond Network
The ValueBond App allows ValueBond owners to meet other ValueBond owners through a global and local search function. The ValueBond network allows chat communication between owners and This function can be toggled off so the owner does not appear in the search. Owners can search for other branded ValueBond owners locally within a 100 m radius if they so desire.
The ValueBond Exchange
The ValueBond Exchange allows owners to request valuations of the their ValueBonded items and sell them through the ValueBond exchange. This can be easily activated within the asset manager and items listed once a valuation has been achieved.
ValueBond It!
The ValueBond it! function allows the user to test other products for authenticity where a ValueBond is signalled. This function is really ensure that products are what they say they are and as the ValueBond is embedded in more and more items this function will be able to give the user confidence that this is a genuine article.
